1. how to get the serial numbers for your operating system..
use jellybean program (www.magicaljellybean.com/keyfinder)
or michaelstevenstech.com/ViewKeyXP.htm or www.winkeyfinder.com

2. How to get a serial on a XP CD...
this one is so tricky..
open the XP CD
goto i386 folder
find pidgen.dll
open notepad then drag the PIDGEN.DLL to the notepad...
navigate through the text and you will find your key there..
its something near on the top of the text file..
